Plain-language summary: AssignMe is a staff shift-assignment tool for businesses of any industry. We collect only what the app needs to build and share your team’s shift board. We never sell your data, and we never run ads. Payment card details are handled by Stripe, not stored by us.
AssignMe (“we”, “us”), based in Minnesota, USA, provides a web and mobile app that lets a manager build, balance and share a staff shift-assignment board, optionally assisted by our “Tunza” AI assistant. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices. Questions: support@assignme.health.
To create your account, build and share your shift board, run the features you request (auto-assign, 24-hour staging, coverage, notify, staff self-service, rules), send the notifications and emails you trigger, process your subscription, provide support, and keep the service secure. We process data to perform our contract with you and for our legitimate interest in operating and improving the service.
When you use the Tunza AI assistant, the board/roster text you submit is sent to our AI provider solely to generate the assignment or answer you asked for. It is not used to train third-party models. Assignments are decision support only; a person always reviews and approves them.
We do not sell your data and do not show ads. We share data only with service providers who help us run AssignMe under contract — hosting, our AI provider, email delivery, Apple/Google push services, and Stripe for payments — and only as needed to provide the service, or where required by law.
When you share a board link or QR code, the recipient sees a read-only view of that board’s assignments. They cannot edit the board or use the AI. You control when a link is shared.
We keep your account and board data while your account is active. You can delete your account at any time (see Delete account); we then remove your board data, retaining only what the law requires (e.g., basic billing records).
You can view and edit your roster and board in the app, turn notifications on or off in your device settings, and request access, correction, or deletion of your data by emailing support@assignme.health. Depending on where you live, you may have rights under the GDPR or U.S. state privacy laws; we honor valid requests.
Data is encrypted in transit, passwords are stored only as hashes, and stored data is encrypted at rest. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.
AssignMe is a workplace tool for adults and is not directed to children under 13 (or 16 where applicable). We do not knowingly collect data from children.
We may update this policy; we will post the new date here and, for material changes, notify you in the app.
