Assign Smart is operated by AssignMe (Minnesota, USA). By creating an account or using the app you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you use Assign Smart on behalf of an organization, you confirm you are authorized to accept these terms for it.
Assign Smart lets a manager build, balance, share and print a live staff shift-assignment board, and optionally use the Tunza AI assistant to help build and rebalance it. Building and running assignments by hand is free; Tunza AI is an optional paid subscription.
Tunza is an artificial-intelligence assistant. Its suggestions, assignments, summaries and answers are decision support only and may contain errors. You are responsible for reviewing every proposal before you Apply it, and for the final assignment. Do not rely on Tunza as the sole basis for any staffing, safety, legal, or compliance decision. In regulated settings, a qualified person must review outputs and you must not enter confidential or protected information you are not permitted to process.
You are responsible for the accuracy of the roster and information you enter, for how you assign your staff, for obtaining any consent needed to add a person's contact details, and for complying with the laws and labor rules that apply to you. Keep your login secure; you are responsible for activity under your account.
Don't misuse the service: no unlawful use, no attempting to break security or access other accounts, no uploading malware, and no using the service to harass or harm others. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.
The Tunza AI add-on is billed on a subscription handled by our payment processor, Stripe. You can cancel any time from Account settings; access continues to the end of the paid period. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. We may change pricing with notice.
We work to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. We may add, change, or discontinue features. We may update these Terms; material changes will be noted here with a new date and, where appropriate, in the app.
The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, AssignMe is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for staffing decisions made using the tool. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
You may stop using Assign Smart and delete your account at any time (see Delete account). We may suspend or end access for violations of these terms.
